Ruah Insurance & Taxes ("Ruah," "we," "us") respects your privacy. This policy explains, in plain language, what this website collects, where it goes, and what we do with it.

What we collect

We collect only what you type into one of our three forms — the Request Information form, the Contact form, or the Join Our Team form. Depending on the form, that is your name, phone number, email address, state and ZIP code, which service you are asking about, your preferred language and contact method, and any message you choose to write.

We do not ask for and request that you never submit Social Security numbers, tax returns, W-2s or 1099s, bank or card details, medical records, policy passwords, or identification documents through this website or the chat. If you need to share documents, an advisor will tell you how.

What we do not collect

This website does not use advertising cookies, tracking pixels, analytics scripts, or session recording. We do not build profiles of visitors, and we do not track you across other websites. If that changes, this page will change first.

Where your information goes

When you submit a form, the information is sent directly to a private Google Workspace account belonging to Ruah, where it is recorded in a spreadsheet and emailed to an advisor so that someone can follow up with you. Google acts as our service provider for that storage and email and processes the information on our behalf.

This website itself does not keep a copy. It passes your submission along and retains nothing.

How we use it

We use what you provide to respond to your request and to follow up with you personally about the services you asked about. We do not sell your information, we do not rent or trade it, and we do not add you to automated marketing sequences.

We share information outside Ruah only where it is necessary to do what you asked — for example, submitting an application to an insurance carrier or filing with a tax authority on your instruction — or where the law requires it.

No chatbot, no AI assistant

This website has no automated chat. Every message you send reaches a person at Ruah, and a person answers it. Nothing you write is sent to an AI service.

How long we keep it

We keep what you submit for as long as needed to respond to you and to maintain records of the services we provided, and for as long as any applicable law requires us to. You can ask us to delete it at any time using the contact details below, and we will do so unless we are required to keep it.

Your choices

You can ask us what we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it. Write to services@ruahinsurancebroker.com and we will respond. Depending on where you live, you may have additional rights under your state's privacy law; tell us what you are asking for and we will do our best to honour it.

Children

This website is meant for adults seeking insurance and tax services. It is not directed at children, and we do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 13. If you believe a child has submitted information through this site, contact us and we will delete it.

Security

This website is served over an encrypted connection, and submissions are transmitted encrypted to the account described above. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, which is why we ask you not to send sensitive documents through this website at all.

Changes

If we change how this website handles information, we will update this page and the effective date at the top.
